Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to launch direct flights between Manila and Da Nang, Vietnam, starting July 1, 2025. This new route will operate three times a week, expanding the airline’s footprint in Vietnam and enhancing connectivity to the Central Vietnamese region known for its cultural heritage.
Expansion of Services

The introduction of the Manila-Da Nang service marks PAL’s third significant move in Vietnam this year. Notably, the airline was the first Asian carrier to establish regular flights to Vietnam when it commenced operations in September 1986. Following recent upgrades, PAL now offers daily flights on its Manila-Hanoi route and plans to initiate services between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) on May 2.
“We at Philippine Airlines are excited to strengthen our close relationship with the Vietnamese people with the introduction of direct Manila-Da Nang flights,” stated PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng. He emphasized the airline’s commitment to enhancing tourism and commerce ties between Manila and Central Vietnam.
